Built for Curtiss Ground
Curtiss is farm country in Clark County, and out here the ground puts two jobs on the list over and over: moving water off the land, and keeping a driveway solid through freeze and thaw. Our two recent Curtiss projects are a good example of each.
Water only moves through a culvert if the pipe is set at the right grade. The 120-foot run we installed here was set at a 1.5% slope, about 1.8 feet of drop from one end to the other, so water keeps moving instead of sitting in the pipe. And a parking pad that holds a camper and a truck needs a solid base under it, which is why we treat the pad and the driveway leading to it as one job.
