About ERE Excavation

ERE Excavation is a family-owned excavating and land management company based at 233119 Co Rd F in Abbotsford, WI. We work directly with homeowners, farmers, hunters, businesses, and municipalities across Marathon, Clark, and Wood counties — and we've taken that same work well beyond our home turf, with real projects completed from Eau Claire to Phillips.


We started ERE Excavation in July 2021, after years working in the utility industry left us wanting more of a challenge. That background gave us a deep, firsthand understanding of underground utilities and the liabilities that come with working around them — knowledge most excavation contractors only pick up over time, not before their first day in business. We built on that foundation quickly, and it still shapes how carefully we approach every dig today..

  • Insured and straightforward. ERE Excavation is fully insured, and our operators hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for hauling and equipment transport. We'd rather be known for the work we finish than a wall of certifications we don't need.
